Some notes from our meeting this week.

MARK-IT EVENT
We are planning for the next Mark-It event on May 5th in Romford Market. In order to build our local campaign, we decided to produce an A5 flyer to hand out. Terry and Jeff to draft flyer for comment.

GO DUTCH
The Big Ride is set for 28th Apr. We will be meeting for the feeder ride at 8.30 outside Lloyds Bank in Romford Market. A press release was sent to the Romford Recorder and the YA.

We have finished collecting signatures and now have A5 leaflets to distribute for the ride. A number of these were handed to attendees to cover libraries and bike shops across the borough.

HAVERING SKYRIDE
Ray has completed Skyride training and will be asking the CLG to consider arranging a Skyride for Havering.

SUSTRANS INGREBOURNE RIVER ROUTE
Terry was alarmed to read that the path through Upminster Park will not be widened to accommodate its shared use. Philip pointed out that the decision is now made but nonetheless, Terry will write to the local RA councillors to question the decision.

LETTER TO CLLR WHITE
Terry will pen a short polite reply to Cllr White's recent letter.

MEETING VENUE
We were not able to use the Queens again this week and so we adjourned to the NALGO Social Club in North Street Hornchurch.  This was a good venue for us with plenty of space and it was fairly quiet. We need to get a few more of us as members so that we can be sure of access. Jeff will obtain some membership forms.
