Please see below notes from our campaign meeting from the 11th April.

EVENTS
It has been reluctantly decided to abandon the plans for the Mayor's Charity Bike Ride. The stumbling block proved to be in identifying how the charity donations would be collected via the Mayor's office. Apologies for any disappointment.


We are now planning for a Cycling Day at Hornchurch Countyr Park at Whitsun with a Doctor Bike and some family rides within the park.

We will also be supporting the Safer Transport Team's Fun Day on 11th August in the Market Place in Romford.

MATERIALS
We have distributed nearly all our current stock of goody bags of maps and leaflets and need to carry out a stock check and obtain more.

SIGN FOR CYCLING
The LCC's London Mayoral campaign is now under way to try to gain the best deal for cyclists from the prospective candidates. Please support the campaign if you've not done so already by going to  http://signforcycling.org/ .

NEXT MEETING
Our next meeting is planned for 9th May at JJ Moons PH in High Street Hornchurch.
Just look out for the table where people (or at least one person) are wearing red LCC or Sustrans tee shirts.
