Please see below the notes of our Havering Cyclists' meeting on 14th August 2017.

LET'S RIDE
Ray reported that the summer programme of rides is under way.

EVENTS
We will supported the Ride London event on the 29th July with a "feeder ride" with 15 or so starting from Gidea Park which joined the larger Barking ride from the beginning of CS3.
We will be attending this year's Havering Town Show for both days with the cargo bike acting as an information stand. Please let either Jeff or Terry know if you are able to help run the information stand for a few hours on the Sunday 27th August or on Bank holiday Monday. 

CYCLE ROUTE SUGGESTIONS
Ray had been looking at the possibility of a route via Mark's Road across North Street which would create a Quiet Route alternative to the North part of the Romford Ring Road.
Terry had been looking at the Ingrebourne Valley Way and a Quiet Route alternative to Hall Lane via Howard Road and Holden Way. 
Ray and Terry to try to progress.

MATERIALS 
Ray has obtained three boxes of the new TfL maps, Jeff will obtain some more Ingrebourne Way maps and Terry has found a large quantity of our own HCC leaflets so we have enough for our coming engagements.
 
NEXT MEETINGS
Our next meeting is planned for Monday 11th September at JJ Moons PH in High Street Hornchurch. Just look out for the table where people, (or at least one person), are wearing red LCC or Sustrans tee shirts.
