Dear Colleagues, Some notes from our meeting last Wednesday evening. HAVERING SKYRIDES Training is currently available for riders willing to be ride leaders - see our website for details. LEAFLETS Ray has ordered pre-printed materials for the summer and Terry will order up a batch of the recently drafted local A5 leaflet. INGREBOURNE VALLEY WAY Good progress has been observed and the works for the new route looks to be on track to complete by the end of March. We will support the formal opening events. HGV EVENT Jeff will speak to Cllr Barry Tebbut to engage his support. INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY We have a stall planned at Havering College for IWD on 9th March. MAYORS BUDGET CAMPAIGN We have recieved positive replies to our emails from Labour, the Lib-Dems and the Greens. RESPONSE FROM COUNCIL LEADER Ray had written to Cllr Michael White seeking his support on a number of cycling issues and had recieved a positive reply. HIGHWAYS ADVISORY COMMITTEE Philip is set to attend the next HAC meeting on 19 March when the proposed improvements to the traffic calming measures in Havering-Atte- will be presented. FUNDING OF HAC TRAFFIC SCHEMES We have seen the list of traffic schemes from the HAC. Jeff will check the meeting minutes to see which schemes have been approved and which need to be raised for discussion at the CLG. Date of Next Meeting The next meeting is planned for WEDNESDAY 20 March at 8.00 pm outside the NALGO club (AKA Havering Staff Social Club).
