Please see below the notes of our Havering Cyclists' meeting on 13th March 2017.

SUNDAY CYCLE CLUB
There have been calls for the Sunday Cycle Club rides be restarted so we plan to start them again on 2nd April. If riders are able to help marshal these events, please let us know.
 
PAGES WOOD
The repairs to the paths damaged by storms last July are nearly complete and additional drainage is being provided. We do still have an issue though with horse riders now using the full width of the path and churning the surface. We have asked for the signs asking riders to keep to one side of the path to be reinstated.
 
MATERIALS 
Tools for the cargo bike have been purchased in readiness for the new season and Ray has obtained some good cycle guide leaflets. We still wait for the new TfL cycle maps to be issued 
 
CLG FEEDBACK
•	There are plans for a new cycle path along the Beam Valley.
•	Our suggestions regarding cycle parking locations were mostly accepted.
•	A plan to link the A127 with the Ingrebourne Valley Way is being developed.
•	The post of Borough Cycling Officer remains unfilled.
 
NEXT MEETINGS
Our next meeting s planned for Monday 10th April at JJ Moons PH in High Street Hornchurch. Just look out for the table where people, (or at least one person), are wearing red LCC or Sustrans tee shirts.
