FORTHCOMING CLG
The next Cycle Liaison Group meeting is on 20th June. Items we would like discussed are:
Update on Romford Cycle Schemes
Gallows Corner Update
Queens Hospital Cycle Access update
Quietways update
Cycling Officer's progress report 
Suggestion for a linkage between Sustrans route 136 and the A12 towards Brentwood

CYCLE TRAINING
Cycle Confident have now replaced Cycle Training East as Havering Council's training provider. We will need to dispose of our CTE leaflets and try to obtain new stocks from CC.

EVENTS
We are now planning for a Cycling Day at Hornchurch Country Park on 30th May with a Doctor Bike and some family rides within the park. Ray will pass contact details to Jeff for Mark who ran earlier Doctor Bikes. Te risk assessments for the rides are done but a ride leader is needed.


Jeff has suggested an event for Upminster Primary School including a Doctor Bike, a ride and an event at the visitor centre with Essex Wildlife Trust.

There will be few, if any local Skyrides this year. It was suggested that we run more family rides during the Summer Holidays in Hornchurch Country Park. 
  
MATERIALS
Following a stock check we need more stickers to apply to goody bags. Terry to obtain more.

SIGN FOR CYCLING
Following London Mayoral election, the focus for LCC is now on reminding new Mayor, Sidiq Khan of his election pledges. 

NEXT MEETING
Our next meeting is planned for 13th June at JJ Moons PH in High Street Hornchurch.
Just look out for the table where people (or at least one person) are wearing red LCC or Sustrans tee shirts.
