These are notes from our meeting of 13 October 2014. 

 
SPACE 4 CYCLING
The emails from LCC to councillors have not gone out yet. Terry to check what is happening with Lucy. There is also a petition to support the cycle superhighways - Terry to circulate.

EVENTS
The next Mark-it event is expected on 1 Nov. 

The next CLG 
The date was unknown at the time of the meeting but we now know that it is on Tuesday 4 Nov.

HAVERING CYCLING OFFICER
Council leader Roger Ramsey had replied to Ray's letter saying that the post is in the process of being filled but no further progress has been seen.

SUSTRANS BIKEABILITY TRAINING
Sustrans have offered discounted training for us. Ray is able to attend (for 3 days). Ray will provide feedback.

PUBLICITY
Katie from Havering Council is looking to run some cycling and road safety publicity - we will try to contribute possible slogan, pictures and even some funding if appropriate. We have also been looking at buying a cargo bike which we can have signwritten and use for events - some even have a leaflet stall built-in.

HORNCHURCH COUNTRY PARK
Jeff reported that the park is to see more development next year with a new Visitor Centre.

Date Of Next Meeting is planned for MONDAY 10 November at JJ Moons PH in High Street Hornchurch.
