Here are a few words of guidance for those wanting to get the most from our Cycle Forum Havering discussion group.
Membership is free and open to any Havering Cyclist member or supporter.
To join, just get in touch HERE and an invitation email with a link to accept the invitation will be sent to you.
The forum is on Google Groups so if you do not have a Google account already, you will be prompted to create one.
Once you are logged into Google, just search for groups and select Google Groups and you will see something like this:
If you select Cycle Forum Havering, you should see a list of recent discussions:
Click on any thread and you will see the thread expanded to read with buttons to respond.
You may also avoid all this web-based nonsense and just use email throughout: Any new messages are automatically shared with you and you may respond or create a new thread yourself just by emailing cycle-forum-havering@googlegroups.com
If you would like to see fewer emails, there are options in your member settings to reduce the emails, to digest, abridged or to none and on this page, there is also the option to leave the group or to select a different email to use in the group:

This hardly needs saying but anybody failing to show due respect and courtesy to fellow cyclists will be removed from the group.
