Thanks to the hardy riders who joined us for last Sunday’s Mayor’s Charity Bike Ride through steady rain. We were sustained by a welcome cup of coffee at the RSPB cafe and by the good cheer of our fellow riders.
Thanks also to Madam Mayor Cllr Stephanie Nunn, Cllr Barry Mugglestone and Council Leader Cllr Ray Morgon who also braved the elements to support our departure.
The ride was in aid of the Mayor’s Charity which is First Step. The amount collected is still awaited.
Lovely work, team Havering. From just a short write-up I still have FOMO from not making it in due to the badly-timed rail engineering. A cuppa at an RSPB cafe after a ride sounds absolutely brilliant.
